After years of compression molding experience, M9's engineers designed a press specifically built for composite compression molding. Modularity and adaptability were the focus of this design, with up to 70" of daylight and 30" stroke, the modular T-slot table allows for heating and cooling modifications, deep draw clamps, hydraulic cushioning and ejection pins.

Optional heated oil platens can be mounted beneath 6061 aluminum T-slot plates, allowing for efficient heat transfer through the T-slot table to any mounted molds while still using T-bolts to mount molds.

Light weight aluminum T-slot plates may be removed to reveal flat ground steel heat platens that may be chrome plated to facilitate a rapid transition between match metal and flat pressing composites.

This press can accept optional 150- 250ton cylinders.

Optional vacuum table platen allows the user to use the bottom platen as a vacuum table with a plug assist from the top platen. This also may be combined with an optional IR heating array and sliding clamp assembly. The vacuum platen may be used as a vacuum thermo-former for thermoplastics.
